About me

I’m an idealist who loves improving the experience of doing every day things. After beginning my career as an English as a Second Language teacher, I learned how much I love helping others navigate their lives. After years of teaching writing to adult university students from around the world, I decided to pursue writing full-time, and I landed in the tech industry. I’ve found that through technical writing, I can combine my teaching skills with my writing skills and improve the lives of others by helping them become successful, autonomous users of technology.

As a seasoned technical writer with experience writing, editing, and maintaining customer-facing support documentation, collaborating with product designers and engineers to improve the experience of using software and website platforms, managing feature enablement and release communications, and collaborating on marketing campaigns, I’ve found a home for myself in technical writing that is personally fulfilling for me. I hate to be bored – and improving the experience of using technology, luckily, is the opposite of boring to me.
